DESCRIPTION

In-depth script details

Fixer NPC

The Fixer is the central hub for all chop shop features, including the chop list, black market, tool shop, bounties, contracts, and reputation tracking. This NPC is fully configurable with custom model, coordinates, scenario, map blip, and target icon. Players access all core systems through an immersive and intuitive menu tied to the Fixer.

Chop List

A rotating list of target vehicles that refreshes at set intervals, defining which models can be chopped. Supports quotas per model, list size limits, and manual or automatic refresh. Players can view the list via command or through the Fixer NPC, with optional expiry timer display. Fully configurable vehicle pool and zone-restricted access ensure immersive gameplay balance.

Chop Zones

Designated locations where players can dismantle vehicles from the chop list. Each zone is defined using custom box zones with adjustable size, rotation, and coordinates. Configurable map blips make zones easy to locate, and multiple zones can be placed across the map to encourage open-world activity. Only inside these zones can vehicles be stripped for parts and materials.

Vehicle Dismantling

Players can freely dismantle vehicle parts in any order, including wheels, doors, hood, trunk, engine components, or scrap the frame entirely. Chopped body parts yield usable components, engine bay salvaging rewards select engine items, and frame scrapping provides raw materials like scrap metal and rubber. All actions require the correct tool, are performed within chop zones, and can include optional progress bars and skillchecks.

Tool System

Tools are predefined and assigned to specific part types — socket and impact wrenches for wheels, cutting torches and angle grinders for doors, hoods, and trunks. Advanced tools chop faster but require more reputation to use. Each tool has configurable animation duration, progress bar, and skillcheck difficulty. Visual effects and sound are synced for each tool, adding realism and immersion to every action.

Hardcore Chopping Mode

This optional system allows player-owned vehicles to be chopped — with the ability to permanently delete them from the database when the frame is scrapped. A built-in blacklist filters out restricted models and plates to prevent abuse. This high-risk, high-control feature is ideal for serious servers looking to push immersion and economy balance to the next level.

Engine Bay Salvage

Players with enough reputation can salvage the engine bay to extract valuable components like alternators, radiators, and fuel injectors. This process uses a separate tool interaction, duration, and skillcheck, with item drops based on individual chance values. A great way to reward experienced players with rare mechanical parts.

Frame Scrapping

Once a vehicle is stripped, players can scrap the frame at any time to collect raw materials such as scrap metal, steel, rubber, and copper. The process is time-based and does not require a tool, offering a final reward before the vehicle is deleted or despawned. Materials and their drop ranges are fully configurable.

Vehicle Radar

A tool that scans the map for valid chop list vehicles and reveals their general locations as blip zones. The system clusters nearby vehicles to avoid spam and creates temporary blips with configurable radius, color, alpha, and duration. Ideal for players who want to quickly locate high-value targets without randomly searching the city.

Vehicle Lockpicking

Built-in lockpicking allows players to break into locked vehicles using a skillcheck-based minigame. Servers can configure difficulty, control whether the lockpick item is consumed, and enable alarm triggers with randomized chance and duration. A default raycast targets nearby vehicles, and the system can be replaced with a custom minigame for deeper integration.

Reputation System

Players earn reputation points by chopping vehicles and completing contracts, unlocking access to better tools, engine salvaging, and high-value missions. Reputation is fully configurable, with fictional rank titles, color-coded progress display, and admin commands for manual adjustments. This system rewards consistent activity and provides long-term progression for criminal careers. Reputation checks can also be disabled entirely for servers that prefer open access.

Contract System

Structured missions offered by the Fixer that task players with retrieving specific vehicles for high rewards. Two contracts are included by default — each with unique requirements, reputation thresholds, and payout structures. Contracts support cooldowns, drop-off locations, and are fully expandable for future mission types.

  • Boosting Contracts – Send players to steal specific vehicles from predefined locations and deliver them to a drop-off point for cash, materials, and reputation. Fully customizable with randomized rewards. No reputation required, making it ideal as an entry-level mission.
  • Repossession Contracts – Higher-risk missions where players recover guarded vehicles from hostile NPCs. Random peds, weapons, and scenarios create unpredictable encounters. Requires higher reputation but offers greater rewards.

Bounty System

Players can place bounties on specific vehicle models or license plates, creating open targets for others to locate, steal, and deliver. Bounties can be tracked through the Fixer, and drop-offs are handled at a secure warehouse. Ideal for repossession jobs, gang-related car thefts, or high-stakes vehicle hunts, the system adds a player-driven layer of economy and roleplay. Reward ranges, commission fees, and refund rules are fully configurable to fit your server’s balance.

Tool Shop

Players can purchase tools directly from the Fixer, each with a unique function and reputation requirement. Basic tools like the socket wrench and lockpick are immediately accessible, while faster or specialized tools such as the angle grinder, spanner set, and vehicle radar unlock with higher reputation. Prices, descriptions, and point requirements are fully configurable, making the shop a natural extension of the player’s criminal progression.

Black Market

The black market gives players two options: sell salvaged parts for quick cash or exchange them for valuable crafting materials. Each part has a defined price and conversion recipe, encouraging players to choose between profit and utility. Accessible through the Fixer, this system ties seamlessly into your server’s black market economy or crafting systems. All prices, materials, and exchange values are fully configurable.

Statistics & Leaderboards

Players can view their personal progress through the Fixer, including total reputation, parts chopped, frames scrapped, and contracts completed. A built-in leaderboard ranks top players across multiple categories, such as points, parts, and bounties. All options are toggleable and fully configurable, making it easy to highlight player activity and reward dedication.
