DESCRIPTION
In-depth script details
Two Heist Types
Players can choose between two heist approaches: loud or silent. Each method offers a unique challenge and dynamic gameplay experience. The loud approach involves bold actions, explosions, and direct confrontation, while the silent approach is all about stealth, precision, and avoiding detection. Both styles allow players to strategize and choose the best course of action based on their team’s strengths and preferences.
- Silent Heist Entry:
In the silent approach, players first need to find the power box on the roof and cut the power by completing the Cayo Perico Voltlab hacking minigame (by Ultra). This requires tools such as a hammer and wirecutter to open the box. Once the power is cut, there’s a limited time window in which the security door inside the bank will unlock.
During this window, a player must complete a datacrack minigame inside the security office. If the player fails or time runs out, the door will relock, trapping anyone inside the security room for the rest of the heist. If successful, robbers gain a set amount of “free-rob-time,” where the police will not be alerted unless a mistake is made in subsequent minigames.
To proceed, players need to hack keypad terminals using the Fingerprint Hacking minigame (by Utkuali) and swipe a Maze Bank access card to unlock the glass doors. Once through, players can access the main vault using the thermal drill. For escape, they can retrace their steps, or choose a more complicated route by breaching through the cargo and garage doors, which requires using thermite and hacking additional keypads. - Loud Heist Entry:
The loud approach is more direct, starting with the use of an explosive charge to blow open the garage door. Players must attach the bomb to the garage door, activate it, and step back as it detonates, creating an entry point. Once inside, players proceed through the garage, where they need to complete a keypad hacking minigame to advance further.
After making their way deeper into the bank, players will use thermal charges to breach the cell doors, eventually reaching the main vault. The main vault must be opened with the thermal drill, as described in the heist’s general features. For the escape, the default route is back through the garage. However, if a second team is in place, they can open the glass doors from the other side by using Maze Bank access cards, allowing access to the smaller vaults and increasing the overall loot.
This structure makes it clearer by dividing the heist methods while keeping the steps in each approach well-explained.
Start the Heist by Bribing the Security NPC
Before the heist begins, players must bribe the security NPC to gain access to the bank. This interaction is essential for starting either a loud or silent heist, setting the stage for the events that follow. Once the bribe is accepted, the bank becomes the playground for either a chaotic assault or a stealthy infiltration.
Access Small Vaults
To access the small vaults within the bank, players need to find a Maze Bank vault card. This card is critical for unlocking the smaller vaults containing valuable loot. The card can be retrieved during the heist by locating it within the bank itself, providing an additional layer of complexity and exploration.
Retrieve Vault Card
The Maze Bank vault card is hidden inside one of the office safes. Players must search the offices and crack each safe, with one randomly containing the card. This task requires time and skill, as the card is essential for unlocking the smaller vaults. Once found, it allows players to access greater rewards within the bank.
Main Vault Access
The main vault is secured behind heavy doors that can only be opened using a thermal drill. This item, which can be acquired from the heist-preps resource, spawns as a prop. Players must attach it to the vault and activate it, initiating the drilling process. The drill may stop intermittently, requiring players to reactivate it before continuing. Once the vault is breached, the thermal drill can be retrieved, and the vault door will automatically open.
Thermal Drill Mechanics
During the heist, players can choose to retrieve their thermal drill after the vault opens. If the tension becomes too high, there’s also an option to escape mid-heist, ensuring the thermal drill isn't lost. This option adds a strategic element to the heist, allowing players to abort the mission if the situation becomes too dangerous.
Breach Cell Doors
Cell doors inside the Maze Bank are heavily secured, but players can breach them using thermite charges. These charges trigger realistic animations and particle effects, adding to the immersive experience. Players can use the thermite on all cell doors, whether entering or exiting, enhancing the heist's dynamic nature.
Vault Lobby Cash
Inside the vault lobby, players will find a single stack of cash. To collect this, they must have a duffel bag in their inventory. This cash pile offers a valuable reward, adding a high-stakes element to the heist. Without the duffel bag, players won’t be able to gather this critical loot.
Small Vault Access
The bank contains two smaller vaults, each housing three stacks of either cash or gold. To access these, players must hack a keypad and swipe a Maze Bank vault card. However, if they possess only one card, they’ll be able to open just one vault. This limitation adds a layer of strategy, as players must decide how to prioritize their efforts based on the loot available.
Vault Card Limit
If players possess only one Maze Bank vault card, they will have to choose between the two smaller vaults, as each card allows access to only one. This adds an element of decision-making and forces players to plan their heist carefully, ensuring they maximize their rewards within the constraints of their available resources.
Heist Cash Rewards
Upon completing the heist, players will receive their rewards in the form of marked bills, with a chance to receive a money bag item. These items can be used in conjunction with other resources to launder the money into clean currency, adding an extra layer of realism to the heist’s financial outcome.
Drill Vault Safes
In addition to the main vault, players can drill smaller safes located in the vault lobby. Using a normal drill from their inventory, they must complete a DLC-style drilling minigame. These safes contain configurable items, offering additional loot for players willing to take the time to crack them open.
Rob Teller Desks
Beyond the major vaults and safes, players can also steal petty cash from the teller desks scattered throughout the bank. This adds extra opportunities to increase the heist's total haul, making every corner of the bank a potential source of loot.
Police Requirement
A key aspect of balancing the heist is the option to set the required number of police officers to start the robbery. This feature ensures that there is a fair challenge for players attempting the heist, and the intensity of law enforcement involvement can be customized to match the server’s preferences.
Heist Cooldown Option
To prevent heists from being repeated too quickly, there is an option to enable or disable cooldown periods between heists. This allows for more balanced gameplay, giving servers the flexibility to manage the frequency of these high-stakes robberies.
Customization
The scripts has config file(s) with an extensive amount of configurable options, allowing extreme customization to make the system work with your roleplay server. A separate language file, containing all strings, makes it very easy for you to translate the system into your preferred language of choice. There's an icon folder with inventory icons for all included items.
Performance
The script has been rigorously tested to ensure maximum optimization and smooth performance, even on large servers with high player counts. Its low resource usage minimizes server strain, providing a stable and seamless gameplay experience for all users. The focus on efficiency and reliability ensures that the script can handle peak activity without compromising functionality or player immersion, making it a robust choice for any server environment.
Sync
The script is fully synchronized across all players, utilizing OneSync Infinity and statebags for seamless and reliable synchronization.
